<--haha trying to improve my Taiwanese so I can go back to TW this summer & bargain at the night markets for lower prices lol...
Anyway I was eating Bala (aka: Guava!! -buy it at your local H-mart today! -^o^-) today and I noticed that its really different from other fruits in that the "meat" (lol i still find it funny that we use that word) nearer to the outside is not the sweetest part; rather the "meat" near the very inside (close to the seeds) is the yummiest! ^^ Which is kinda odd when you think about it b/c in most fruits like apples, the "meat" along the outside is sweet but the closer you get to the middle the more sour it becomes...i think? or maybe its just my own taste buds lol...
